Audience Feedback - First Draft Magazine Advertisement

Teacher's Feedback:

• Make the font for the reviews smaller
• Level out the reviews so they are together
• Make the image of the girl bigger as there is a lot of empty space

Focus Group Feedback:

Amy

• I like the use of the guitar as it links well to the music video
• Having the same picture of the girl and her guitar is good as it is clear they are linked together

To improve-

• It would be more interesting to have a more variation of colours

Rhiannon

• The synergy between all three products is really clear
• Having the main protagonist as the main focus is effective

To improve- 

• Maybe add more colour to be more eye catching

• I like that it's really clear what it's all about
• It looks really good as a product

To improve- 

• The girl needs to be more saturated

• I like how the white font contrasts with the background
• I like how a similar image is used for both the digipak and the advertisement

• The background colour is too harsh
• I like the back cover
• I like the inside cover, it's very indie

To improve-

• Include the track names on the back cover
• Have another colour in the front cover to incorporate your music video
• For the other inside cover, maybe have words

• The dark colours are very indie
• I like the font for Fickle Friends
• I like how you have the same font for Vanilla as the tracks on the back 

To improve-

• Add in more colour as it is only a plain black background with plain white text

• I like how the prop of the guitar is included to add synergy
• The fonts are bold and work well together
• It's simple but effective of the indie genre

• It's really clear, which is good
• It hasn't got a lot of colour so it is a bit dull and wouldn't catch my eye

To improve-

• Add more colours to make it more interesting

• I like how the background is completely black so there are no distractions
• The brightness of the guitar stands out which is effective
