Final Edit

Personal Constructive Criticism

After watching my final outcome, there were many factors that could be improved upon:

  • The shots needed to have flowed better, as the obvious cuts between them makes it more jumpy and does not look professional
  • The actors were not enthusiastic enough, with the lip syncing very hard to distinguish, making it look fake and not genuine
  • Both actors' costumes were the same throughout the whole video, which made it look unrealistic, especially as one of the main focuses was about different time frames and flashbacks

Overall, I was not satisfied with the quality of the final outcome, and I will take these factors which did not work well into consideration. In my next production, I will specifically improve upon these to make a higher standard piece of work.

Album Digipak Finalised Idea

In response to the focus group feedback, I redrew the album digipaks based on the improvements. Firstly, I changed the font of the band to match the coloured text in the song title, so that the whole cover would fit together. The colours of blue and orange are still included to emphasise significance, and synergy throughout the music promo, magazine advertisement and digipak.
On the back cover, I placed the track list either side of the silhouette heads to not cover them, as they are also significant to the meaning.

Magazine Advertisement Finalised Idea

After receiving feedback from the initial ideas, I redrew the magazine advertisement with improvements. I kept the original design of the silhouette heads along with the blue and orange colours as they are symbolic and significant to the idea.
In response to the improvement ideas, I changed the font to be the same as the song title, but made it a different colour to juxtapose with the title.
