Audience Feedback on First Draft Animatic Storyboard

Teacher's Feedback:

• I quite like the slow shots when shes singing - you could do a slow zoom
• The locations work well
• There is a clear narrative - and its relatable to the audience
• It's an original idea

To improve:

• The camera work needs to me more creative - its more flat
• The main idea is good - the execution needs improvement
• The pace is too slow 

Focus Group

Amy:

• It had a good length of clips - not too long
• It had a variety of different shot sizes

To improve:

• On the drum beat, you could have a number of shots in quick succession
• Throughout the song, you should have cuts that are in time with the beat

Rhiannon:

• I really really like the overall narrative of the music video and its pace. 
• The pace isn't too fast, which allows it to focus on the protagonist and their story, but also quick enough to keep you on your toes
• I really loved it

To improve:

• Some shots are repeated a couple of times, which can be a bit repetitive 

Ben:

• It was really good
• It goes well with the song, which is the best part about it

To improve:

• Make it more clear what is happening, as it is quite difficult to understand at first

Joe:

• I liked the over the shoulder shot looking at the dog in particular as it is an aesthetically pleasing angle
• I enjoyed it 
• I felt that it was a good pace as the song wasn't that fast
