Location Research

For our music video, we decided that it would be most effective to film during the day, so that the coloured flares will be brighter and more effective to emphasise their symbolism. Therefore, we wanted a plain background that would not be too distracting, including a large area of land where the actors can run around with the smoke flares.

After doing some research, we eventually decided to film at The Brocas in Windsor. We would film the main part of our music video here as it is a large area of land that is secluded, so there would be no pedestrians walking by to be a distraction or make the shot look unconvincing.

We are also going to film in other areas to create a story and a variety of shots. These include the train station and Eton Bridge, as the moral of the story is following the main character around, walking and doing usual activities such as buying a train ticket.
