Album Digipak Initial Ideas

For the album digipak of our production, our initial ideas were varied. We decided that within the cover, there should be a defined colour theme, as this proved to be successful within the indie genre, as the audience can then relate these colours to the album.

Initially, we researched the meanings of colours to decide which ones we were going to use for our album. We wanted to have at least two that complimented eachother well. Finally, we decided on the colours blue, with the meanings of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust, and orange, that has the connotations of joy, happiness, determination and encouragement. We especially thought this linked to our song 'Brother' as it is about being there for eachother.
